This is a beautiful waterfall that is approximately 13m both in height and width. The rock cliff where the waterfall is located is an exposure of a sandy mudstone that had been deposited on the sea bed of Paleo Chichibu Bay, which existed 15 million years ago.

Roadside Station Ryusei Kaikan
This is a roadside station where you will be able to enjoy the specialties and gourmet food of Chichibu. The Ryusei Kaikan linked to the roadside station has an exhibit on Ryusei Matsuri, a festival of traditional handmade rockets (referred to as “ryusei” in Japanese).
This is a museum that passes on to the present what happened during the largest farmers’ uprising incident in modern Japanese history in 1884. The museum is linked to the roadside station.
This is the shrine where the Ryusei Matsuri is held every year on the second Sunday of October. At the foot of a mountain not far from the shrine, ryusei rockets are launched from a tower.
Here, there are many grape and strawberry farmers, and you can enjoy picking fruits. Nearby there is also a winery and cheese workshop.

Bus: Take the Seibu Kanko Bus bound for Yoshida Genki Mura from Seibu Railway Seibu-Chichibu Station or Chichibu Railway Chichibu Station. Get off at Ryusei Kaikan and walk for 15 minutes.
