In addition to an exhibit on the flora and fauna of the virgin forest in the mountain recesses of Chichibu, the facility has an extensive exhibit on nature and people’s life in the Otaki region including forestry during the Edo period, agriculture in mountainous areas, and the history of the roadway. The facility is located inside a roadside station, and next to it there are restaurants and a hot spring.
